INDIANA MUSHROOMS
                         Pluteus petasatus
This grouping was found in June under the mid-day sun.  Growing
where a tree stump was removed.
Often found growing from wood
chips or from roots in lawns where trees have been cut down, making
them appear terrestrial.
The "horned" cystidia of Pluteus petasatus.
Spores 5–8 x 3.5–6 microns.
