The Blewit. These images show some of the many faces of Lepista nuda. Can be found late fall and early winter growing from leafy/woody debris on the forest floor. Also, often found in urban areas growing from mulch. Cap can get to be 4-5 inches across. A very good edible. Formerly named Clitocybe nuda. |
