This Lepiota mushroom seems to be more prevalent than some of the other small species in this genus. Can be found in the woods or growing in disturbed areas like parks and in lawns. Pleasant odor. Gills are free; white spore print. A small, delicate ring (annulus) appears on the upper stem. Cap is a pinkish/reddish brown, darker at the center. |
