This jelly fungus grows from fallen hardwood branches. As seen in these
images, this fungus is often found growing with parchment fungi
(
Stereum). Phaeotremella frondosa varies in color depending on age.  
Can be found year round under warm and wet conditions. Formerly
known as
Tremella foliacea.
